Linda Estruch

Linda Estruch
Linda’s career spans 30 years in education. She has experience of transformational change and leadership in schools. Linda has been involved in strategic leadership and management in an educational environment and has been instrumental in leadership development for schools management and teaching staff. Linda was a pioneer of Leadership training for school pupils and has successfully led a number of Leadership Development programmes for 16-18 year olds. Her approach is to provide pupils with the opportunity to learn by taking on real projects in which they are entirely responsible for providing services to a community inside or outside of the school. This learning approach creates an environment in which the pupils are exposed to the risk of project failure and are encouraged to manage these risks “without a teacher to sort out the problems”. This is supported by skills training, coaching and project reviews to help the pupils to identify issues and to manage the projects themselves.
Philippa Bowen
Philippa has worked extensively with individuals and businesses to understand how social media can help them grow and develop. Now she brings her specialist knowledge to our schools programmes to our Social Media training team. With a range of tailored workshops for students, parents, staff and governors, we explore how social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and a host of corporate and individual broadcast and blog services have revolutionized how people of all ages communicate online and how these services interact with, target and sell to younger people in particular. Then as those students head out of Sixth Form into university and the world of work, we help them understand how to use social media for their benefit and how to build, maximize and protect their Internet profiles to meet the needs of employers.
